Leadership Team

Neil Ostrander

Neil Ostrander, CEO

Neil focuses his 25+ years of non-profit management experience on building sustainable, transformational development projects in the developing world. His passion to ‘bring good news to the poor’ is matched by his team-building approach and desire to inspire others to join the cause.

After owning, operating and selling three small businesses, Neil turned his energies to an associate pastor role and then to international mission and development work, joining International Teams Canada in 1990 to lead our first short-term team to Hungary and Romania.  He became Vice-President of iTeams Canada in 1993 and CEO in 1997.  Under Neil’s leadership, we have developed 20 dynamic partnerships and transformational development programs that serve the poor in the Americas, Africa, Eastern Europe and Asia.

Neil resides in Elmira, Ontario and is married to Yvonne. Together they have raised two wonderful boys, Michael (1985), and Brett (1988) who lived and worked in the Philippines for eight years along with his wife Grace and daughter Isabella (2011).

Kim Loney, Chief Program Officer

Kim has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Masters of Art from Regent College. She has lived in North & South America and Europe throughout her lifetime, and began working with International Teams in 1985, initially as part of a team delivering Bibles to Eastern Europe. Kim grew into various leadership roles in Romania, Europe, and most recently Canada, where she is currently the Chief Program Officer for 18 programs around the world.
