Mbangu’s Willing Spirit

By Lauren Anderson, Sunday July 15, 2018

Impact Zambia was established in 2012 with a vision of working in partnership with indigenous leaders to help some of the poorest communities in rural areas of southwestern Zambia.

Mbangu is a young man from one of those communities. During the past six months, the opening of the training centre has become the primary focus for Impact Zambia. Mbangu is involved with all that goes on at the training centre. He is always eager to help out, learn something new in the process, and do it all with a smile on his face. Recently, there was a bush fire which threatened the training centre. Even without any shoes, he was quickly on the scene to contain the fire and protect the property. Mbangu is also involved with his church, playing the drums on a regular basis. He was recently gifted a new suit to replace his older clothes as they were not his size. Currently, Mbangu is working hard and saving up money so that he can be prepared for marriage. This young man’s service and willing spirit is a continued blessing to Impact Zambia’s work and it is great to see him grow.

Thank you for your support of Impact Zambia as we work to change lives like Mbangu’s. We couldn’t do it without you!
