Chidimma’s Story

By Lauren Anderson, Wednesday February 26, 2020

With a motto like this:

To equip the student holistically and help make him/her whole by providing spiritual enlightenment, academic enrichment, artistic encouragement, skills, enhancement, global exposure, and leadership development.

it is no surprise that the education kids receive at Impact Kenya-PACE has the potential to be truly life-changing. Chidimma is one of the international students at the Pan African Academy (PAA), representing her country of Nigeria. Chidimma came to the PAA in 2016, and has been enjoying the past 3 years studying at PACE.

Chidimma’s favourite subjects at PAA are English and Math. She enjoys English because it allows her to feel a little more at home in Kenya. She also enjoys math because her teacher “…makes the subject fun! I love math, but he makes it better because he jokes in class. He makes it easier and better for us to understand and digest well.”

Her favourite memory at PAA was when she was able to participate in the spelling bee. She was very nervous to be in the spelling bee, but is thankful for the opportunity to represent her school and try her best.

When Chidimma grows up, she wants to be a flight attendant so she can see the world! She loves the way flight attendants walk, talk, and dress, and dreams of one day learning all the required skills necessary in order to become a flight attendant herself.

Because of your support, young women like Chidimma have a hope for a brighter future! Thank you for sharing our belief in the transformative power of education.
